Your faith community can make a real difference
Local laws allow faith communities to sponsor those living in their vehicles on their property without any government permission or oversight. If you community of faith has the parking spaces for use from, say, 7pm to 7am, you can do this and we will help.
AFC will screen and orient any potential guest so that they are qualified to live in harmony with your congregation and neighborhood.
We will work with you on hours of operations, type of vehicles, amenities available to participants and rules particular to your site.
We will continue to work with participants after they arrive to clear up any miscommunication, see that rules are abided by and help them develop a plan to move up to more stable housing over time. And if need be, exit them from your site.
We ask you open your site to these folks, work with them and us to make this experience good for them and your congregation.
